MARALA HYDRO POWER PROJECT
SECRETARY ENERGY AND ADDITIONAL SECRETARY VISIT:
The Head Marala hydro power project has been completed at a cost of Rs 388.7 million which will produce 7.64 megawatt electricity. Asad Rehman Gilani Secretary Energy and Additional Secretary along with DC Sialkot visited Head Marala power project site to witness the progress and commissioning activities and said that the power project would generate 50.3 million units annually and 1.5 KM long transmission line of 11000 kV line had been laid and liked to Marala grid station. Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif will inaugurate Head Marala hydro power project in near future. Later, the Provincial Secretary Energy along with other officers visited different areas.
